Lesson prices are currently set as follows
20 minute individual - £144 for 10 lesson (£14.40 per lesson)
30 minute individual - £205 for 10 lesson (£20.50 per lesson)
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Peripatetic Piano Teacher to join our vibrant school community. As a Peripatetic Piano Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide our students on their musical journey. Currently, we have 4.5 hours to our teaching schedule. However, we aspire to further expand our student enrolment in the lessons.
We would assist in facilitating the students for you to tutor and provide you with a piano and suitable room to conduct your lessons. You would then directly invoice the parents/carers of the students for payment at the rates set out above.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality piano instruction to students of various ages and skill levels.
Develop and implement engaging and effective lessons tailored to individual student needs.
Foster a love for music and piano through creative teaching methods.
Prepare students for performances, exams, and competitions when appropriate.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and achievements.
Collaborate with other music educators and school staff to support a cohesive music program.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in teaching piano.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion.
Ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential.
Flexibility to accommodate varying student schedules.
